My big thing against tours is that there is an itinerary that allows little time to explore. I love to explore, and if I want to spend an hour in a little cafe talking to locals or simply watching people go by, I want to be able to do that. I don’t know of any tours that would let me do that.

I’ve taken seven of your fantastic fully guided tours. But lately I’ve noticed they’re attracting a “younger” crowd. Oh wait, it’s me. I’m getting older. I’ve got about seven years on you Rick and my knees are getting creaky. I hope you expand the itineraries of your My Way tours, or better yet, offer a couple shoulder season departures of your regular tours that are longer, with a little more downtime but the same itinerary spread over more days. We retired folk aren’t constrained by the two week vacation limit. I’ve tried two organizations that attract an older crowd but couldn’t stand the grumps, the over packing, and the wasted time head counting because they don’t utilize your simple and efficient “buddy checks.”

RS fully guided tours and also the My Way Italy tour in 2018 with my daughter. Highly recommend both. I’ve been to Italy before so the My Way tour allowed us the flexibility to see different sights.
